pre raiser has been relatively quiet and has opened one hand in the first 40 mins or so the small blind is a massive calling station who calls 60% plus pre so far and peels any draw at all.

i like a shove here to rep a draw, a guy this tight might can fold a K to a normal raise.

what do people think of the pre flat? I don't love it with the opener having 2800 and opening for 250...not sure we shouldn't just fold pre

flop I do some silly click it back or something...look as bluffy as possible

+1 for this. Simplifies things.

Dont like pre. No implied odds to setmine and nity OR has 5xed it from early.

What $100 is this?

I totally accept the fold pre argument it was just that with this much of a nit opening 5x and an uber fish i would have pos when he almost inevitably called i thought the implied odds were there, but i accept its not great pre

but to be fair if i stack him i get 10 to 1 and the extra from the fish

I used to hate it but in SSMTT randoms seem to open bigger with better hands and that makes the chance of stacking when you hit a set that much greater. So when deep enough I will flat something like this on occasion.

I think a shove is the best way to look weak here. He may hero you with QQ,JJ and he's always calling w/ a K or Ax flush draws.

okay so I decided to flat call to try and lure the fihs in as i figured he might have got some part of the flop and also I thought if villain has qq jj then he may come for more on turn

i flat fish calls out the sb and turn comes 3x fish checks villain leads i shove and he snaps with jqo and misses wheeeeeee

he must have been so card dead or something because he had been so nitty then just blew up with jqo w/e gg ty
