so this is the final 10 (thought it was 14 just checked back and two hands later the second table goes down to 4 and the final table is reached (dont know why i thought it was 14 i thought we were 7 handed for some reason) :/ of the $27.50 360 cap 9k guarentee, i know viallian has been calling pretty loose but this spot was pretty disgusting when he bets so small on the river i look to extract value and then when he jams do you really call this with a paired board on the flop?

Thoughts on the min open whilst 5 handed with a suited ace ? thought on the flop check? i wanted to keep the pot small and make my hand is slightly disguised if i do hit my flush,, when he bets really small on the turn is my call fine? his river bet is so small i have to raise this right with the nut flush? and when he jams its just a horrible spot isnt it?

So will he really do this with a smaller flush.. it looks like a boat so much ???

with ICM considerations this is a fold right?

Well he is not bluffing for sure but I don't think I'm folding here.there are not a lot of boat combos he can have here besides 44,78,88 I assume he 3bet kings OOP.still it's an ugly spot tho but since the board is paired I would just call river.as played call

i know this is almost always an easy cbet but when we are so near too the final table and the paired board i wanted to keep the pot a bit more on the small side.. even though i have a monster draw with ICM considerations you wouldnt try to keep the pot more on the small side seen as though we dont have a made hand yet?? i know the results of the hand even though i tank folded and wanted to hear peoples thoughts on this because i was told after the hand by a few players it was an easy fold but i really did use a hell of a lot of timebank up before folding :/

U gotta cbet that flop with the nut flush draw, ur likely to take it down right there, if he calls ur in alright shape, and if he raises u can jam. betting 1600 on the turn is dumb, what are u trying to do with that bet? u might as well check behind on the turn as played and try to hit and value bet the river.

bet the flop, as played folding river is lolbad, he probably shoves every worse flush for value and since you checked flop you shouldn't have a flush yourself that often he can easily have 7x for value etc

Ime, villains also tend to overplay their hands on the occassions where they flop or river big and the pot is small in relation to stacks

cbet flop. Not folding now. ul if he shows up with a boat but if you double up now, you can own the final table (seeing the other stacks, I am assuming the avg is somewhere close to 40k?)
