Hi guys just wondering what your thoughts are on this hand... It completely tilted me as I bubbled. One of the strangest hands I've seen...

It completely baffled me. I think my iso is standard but isn't the SBs shove suicide? And wtf was the BB doing here with 44? lol

Shove is fine. petrso is a reg who sucks at poker, chulai is a fish.

Chulai a fish? His Sharkscope says otherwise, up $2274 after 1006 games at the $30s...

It's like how can he risk $25 equity or whatever on gambling with 44 in that spot? And how does this guy have an 8% ROI after ~ 1000 games?!!?
Fifty50 strat/RoI Discussion Quote
11-19-2011 , 04:39 PM
Can easily win @ 8% over 1000 games and still be a losing player. sample size is nothing
Fifty50 strat/RoI Discussion Quote
11-19-2011 , 08:04 PM
What would be an adequate size wayne?
Fifty50 strat/RoI Discussion Quote
11-20-2011 , 01:19 AM
Kinda hard to say. Depending on ur true ROI. The higher ur ROI the less the sample size you would need. But in these games with the relatively low ROI's id say at least 10k+ games. For example Phase89 makes like 2% at the games and he has now gone like 20-25k games at breakeven, with like a 15k game stretch running like -2%

Hi guys!

Just started playin these and started from bottom.
Been playin DoNs about 2 years 1st at stars and then at OnGame, but now wanted to give a shot to fifty50

First of all is it ok to min open here or if I want to play this hand should I openshove?
I felt that everyone will fold without a decent hand here.
When the CO shoves, fold or call?

Poker Stars $1.39+$0.11 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t125/t250 Blinds + t30 - 6 players

BB: t3510 M = 6.32
UTG: t3215 M = 5.79
Hero (MP): t3380 M = 6.09
CO: t1397 M = 2.52
BTN: t2010 M = 3.62
SB: t1488 M = 2.68

Pre Flop: (t555) Hero is MP with J Q
1 fold, Hero raises to t500, CO raises to t1367 all in, 3 folds, Hero ?

I would openshove QJs here most of the time. When you minraise you are inviting the BB to come over the top with stuff like Ax, K9 etc. when he would've folded had you shoved.

As played I would call the CO since we are pretty much priced in. I would also call the SB had he shoved, but would fold to the BTN and BB.

My thoughts before minbet was pretty much the same as yours. I thought my minbet would look strong to BTN and BB (they were both regs in my read) and they would fold anything but better hands than mine (would they call Ax hands, not sure?? i think shove perhaps) and if the shorties shove, I think I have to call here and was planning to do that too. Shortie shoved with AKo and I spiked J to win the pot.

Nothing extraordinary. Not good enough to 3-bet pre. On this dry flop it's okay to bet. With any overcard I pretty much fold to c-bet and check the flop.

Are those forms of breakeven streaks normal? They are played on 3$ Limits:

I'm using SNGWiz a lot, but I think there must be huge leaks in my bubble play due to this statistic:

funny thing about this is, I have still a lot of fun playing those games but I always have problems to find my leaks. Looks like I'm playing not agressive enough around 6 and 7 handed right?
What do you think? And is anyone here who is coaching micro and/or smallstakes on F50s?

What do you mass tablers use for software nowadays?
I hate all the mouse strokes required for registering as well as the Stars 'feature' of having new tables steal focus from ones requiring action leaving them to timeout in the background if you aren't aware and manually refocus it.

A couple years ago I used tableninja so I might purchase that again. I was a bit surprised to see my registration expired.

        What other options are there?

xbox controller is used to play obv. I can set any button to match any keystroke with a program called xpadder. Then just gotta match it all up with TN. Its the tits. There are threads on here about it, just search for it.

you should be shoving here instead of min raising so that the blinds don't come along for the ride. Not only that, but you have almost 3x as many chips as him. These are spots where you should be willing to take flips so that if you win the hand you will be running all over the table from thereon. WTF was SB doing cold calling with 96o anyway?
