Sometimes you have to play as fast as possible b/c of this. If you can get the BTN or CO after addon you have vastly increased your EV (this should be obvious).

Besides the position argument, I really do not buy that stalling to save rebuys is +EV... unless you're -EV in the tournament overall or you don't have near the bankroll recommended to play these in the first place. What am I missing?

The add-on is worth much more than $30 but I don't think the rebuys are worth less than $30.

The last couple levels are generally a period of the tourney where there are numerous insanely +cEV opportunities and all the regulars stalling results in only getting a few hands during that time.

i just recently discovered the $4r 3x sats to the Tues $1k. i played in a few that gave 5-6 seats away and were tons of fun. unfortunately i brickd em and was in for like two thousand buy ins but whatever.

$33r 3x are in fact the devil. but they are sooooo tempting!
