Early stages 6 max turbo SNG

Hey all, I am fully aware that generally we are best to play relatively tight in the early stages of a SNG, and that our hand selection is entirely situation dependent.
However I just needed some generalised advice as to if it is a good idea to be playing a larger range of hands in late position when in the 6 max format in order to pick up some smaller pots on the flop and turn or is it still advisable to be playing a relatively tight game in the first few blind levels and continuing to open up our range once the blinds are actually worth taking.
Any help would really be appreciated

As in every poker format, the better your position/the less players are left active behind you, the more hands you want to play. So, yes.
