to be honest I'm not sure how much my ROI is impacted by how many regs are at the table. I'm more focused on trying to get in as many $20 and up DoNs a possible during the short stints I can play than anything else. It would be sweet to have a table of fish join me as opposed to folks like yourself but I wouldn't even know till the game kicked off since there's not enough volume to table select anyways.

I do know the games are far tougher than what they used to be but with a solid rakeback deal there's still $$ to be made.

If I had the time and was willing to do it, I'd step down in stakes and try to pick up the HUSNGs. more potential to make serious money. However, I'd have to start low and be willing to struggle till I got better. I just don't have the time for that short term.

just gonna say it's not very hard to beat hu sngs till you get to like $50-60, not at all. not only that, but you seem to be pretty good and would learn fast.

if you think you suck that much with 50+bb just play the hypers you know how to play a <30bb stack well

At least not big enough to warrant avoiding them. You would really need 7 regs that are as good as or better than you at your table before you should be concerned about avoiding them.

I guess if your goal is to maximize your ROI as opposed to making money whenever possible you could justify avoiding reg heavy games because 5 regs at your table will obviously shrink your ROI, though I'd doubt it'll go negative.
The thing is that there are a handful of regs at every DON these days. But you aren't overcoming the rake against even the mediocre regs. It's the handful of fish that generate your profit.

But I agree that table selecting is basically impossible in these since waiting for the perfect table will leave you never playing.

I play double or nothings on ongame 6 max and they can be very profitable indeed even at $54 and $108 there is still a couple of fish at table. If anyone is interested in talking about strategy for double or nothings exclusively pm me.
