Already knocked out enough players to make my buy-in back. Sitting 30/150, top 3 pay over $1k. Just been moved table. Villain has good stats, a winning MTT reg on the site. Hero is BB. Villain has me covered, I have 9k in chips, antes are in and blinds are 150/300

UTG limps, fold etc, MP limps, Hero raises to 1200, UTG raises to 3000, MP folds.

What range do you put him on for this move? And what's your shoving range? Zero calling range?

Thanks

AK TT+, I mean, limp-reraises are often the goods but I think there's enough random spaz in his range (I remember doing this once with A9s) that you can't fold the top of your range any more so than you could had he raised and 4 bet-jammed.

I don't know about this... I know from his stats that he's a decent winning reg. He reraised pretty quickly, but very small (1800 on top of 1200). It just screams strength to me, or occassionally very canny deception with, as you say, as suited A or high suited connectors. But this would seem to be a pretty small part of his range here. I can't put him on AKs really, or even AQs, and otherwise his range is a WA/WB kindof situation where he's either getting carried away (or trying to get info, not a good play for a winning reg) with TT or suchlike, otherwise it looks very much like QQ-AA.

Is this MUBS? I think it's more sensible than that but I stand to be corrected. For me it was either shove or fold and in the end I tank/folded JJ, cos it just looked like he was desperate for a call with the light re-raise...

Further comments def appreciated

Peace
