Is there any reason to get away from this hand? Villian is 40/0 over 60 hands. Thought he didn't have anything and would fold to a bet so I checked the flop and turn hoping for a bluff.

Very hard to detect a set there. But you might see from his shove that he has something there, but it could as well be a A-bluff. Why didnt you bet flop?

As i said in first post, I thought he was calling with little or nothing, so I expected he would fold to a bet, so I checked hoping for him to bluff at it

I think checking the flop is okay.

But you have to start building the pot on the turn. The board is drawy and you miss value if you don't bet. As played I hate this spot. I think he have an ace sometimes but straight and full house are completely possible too. I'm not good enough to fold this so umm yeah. But bet the turn.

Im leading flop because checking just shouts I've hit massssive. But in this particular outcome you wouldve been stacking off and losing either way. Villain does this with weaker ace I think, but I personally couldnt have found a fold here.

I think there are a couple things you could've done differently (raise less pre, bet turn, etc.) but nothing would've changed your fate. Good hand, bad cooler.

pf bet ~6825, 3/4 bet flop,bet turn ... etc
