The better question is, how could you keep yourself 2.7k behind otr? Fwiw since this is the nut worst river card I'm inclined to c/f; it's called the idiot end for a reason. Doubt he'll bluff there often, neither would he turn a pp into a bluff. With a 4card str8 out there there's no real value in betting the river with the idiot str8.

well you set up a perfect river shove so do it. not sure what the huge turn bet is for. i prefer less ott, and plan to re-eval and value bet or check call some rivers. Also your flop check raise is rather huge.

How can you put sbdy on a unique hand? If you have a solid read or some kind of important history with him, out with it!

Btw no, you can't fold a str8 when you know he has a 2p

Stop posting whilst playing, don't be results oriented, GL, and TID.

@MB: I always do the opposite of what villains expect/want me to do

folding anywhere is absolutely insane. def have to bet river, def can't fold. it's gross, but betting any river here is profitable. can't possibly fold...

i have a hard time putting him on a T unless its a Thxh combo

pretty clear river shove and the whole line is fine.

i also dont think this flop gets checked through multiway alot and would c/r/get it in > B3B 100% of the time.

Bad river card, either shove, or check fold, i prefer to shove as there is no way he will just check it back unless he has like top set and has a lot of showdown value, i prefer the shove then, you look like you are scared of the striaght draw and could get a call from two pair...etc. Would hate to Check fold, and him to flip over two pair.

Yes, his play doesnt make sense if he isnt an idiot and is playing crap hands like AT, KT that way.

I'm still not convinced... What are we getting value from when we shove the river? I don't really think most villains call a shove on the river with overpairs/2pair, they probably even lay down sets a lot of the time.

what a digusting hand. id surely be pissed after this hand.

no, you cant fold, youre getting 12:1 or something with a straight on a non paired non flushed board. they have 8Thh or some random Thxh hand almost always id think, but youre way too priced in.

Not spoil the thread but he did show up with my prediction, 2 pair. But against certain villians I am really pissed about the river, this one I was but Instincts told me he didn't have a T
