With this big limped pot I put the button on making a move to collect all that's out there so I'm making a move back certain that he will fold.

I actually don't like the move much, and my friend suggested it, but I think it can be justified. It is deep in the donkament and I do need chips to take a shot at the W.

Thoughts?

SB/BB defense?

When Antes kick in, because every hand is so important at this stage, could be your tournament life coming soon if you're not in the game, what would be the ideal defense for hands like this?

What's our min range for a defense of the BB and SB?

if the BTN was active with isoing or just raising a wide range this is fine
you still have FE even over the 8k bet unless he calls really wide to make it profitable

if he was tight and isos ~99+ AQ+ i dont like your move.

Dont have a read that BTN is isoing light or has a fold button

Small but not insignificant chance that limpers could be trapping with a hand.

Your not quite deep enough - so much in pot that BTN only needs 35% equity to call. If hes isoing with top 15 or less he has equity to call against your likely top 5 shove.
