Which flops should I be looking to continuation bet/check behind? This happens an awful lot to me and I've been contemplating the right move: I raise three handed from button w/ a raggy ace to 2 and a half times the bb and get 1 caller. Which flops do I look to continuation bet when I miss? some yes/no answer to the following flops would be nice:

KT9
K56
789
223
TTJ
556
456
QQQ
TJQ

Assume the flops have two suits. Scroll down for stack sizes and another example...

^^NH imo. C/betting that flop does very little, as it leaves you wide open for a c/rai, which you will fold to like 90% of the time, unless of course you cbet your strong hands as well. Not to mention it's super drawy and will get called (correctly) by strong draws, or floated to take away from you on the turn. A turn bet is rarely getting called by hands you beat and is usually only getting called by hands that beat you or gets raised as a bluff, which again you will have a hard time calling. River call is fine, but villain really has no reason to bluff - but they still do.

It really helps to think about what exactly you are trying to accomplish with a cbet before you make it.

When blinds are relatively small and my stack is decent, I try to remember that I got into a hand to steal the blinds. If someone calls, then unless I hit the flop pretty hard, I am pretty much done with the hand.

There is more then just the texture of a flop to consider when you c-bet/steal blinds @ 50/100, 75/150 levels.
