Blnds 15,000-30,000. the sb pushes me allin and I am the short stack by about 40K. i look down at A8 off, I ended up calling fairly instantly with the hand in which he pushed with 2 4 clubs and beat me with a 4 on flop. I would liketo know if i should have waited for the button to push with hand rather than to call off with a hand like A8. thank you
Yeah that is a snap call (especially if you have a read he is pushing with ATC) in most situations though it may be possible to find a fold depending on the stack size situation. The more serious question is how you let your stack dwindle to four blinds in the first place.

Valid, but the blind structure may have a little to do with that. Very possible to be shorty with 10-12BBs, 2 minutes ago before the blinds jumped to 15k/30k. Kinda need more information, but good point...
