So i iso raise this hand pre,and try to get it in against the shorty for his bounty, it was 10$ and pridia guy had a 15$ bounty if i remember correctly.
So what would be your approach on the flop? I think calling is not so good, because we will giv him such a good prize to continue with overcards, if i raise it to 3k on the flop, im commited anyway right?
So i thought jamming should be fine.
this guy who call's the iso raise, has 32/11 stats on 19 hands, 0 3bet. And he is a funplayer.
Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 6 8
UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 calls 400, 2 folds, Hero raises to 1,200, 2 folds, SB calls 1,000, BB folds, UTG+2 calls 800
Flop: (4,540) 8 3 5 (3 players)
SB checks, UTG+2 bets 1,560 and is all-in, Hero raises to 33,684 and is all-in, SB calls 11,055 and is all-in
Turn: (28,210) Q (3 players, 3 are all-in) River: (28,210) 3 (3 players, 3 are all-in)
Spoiler:
Results: 28,210 pot
Final Board: 8 3 5 Q 3
SB showed K K and won 28,210 (15,895 net)
UTG+2 showed 6 5 and lost (-2,820 net)
Hero showed 6 8 and lost (-12,315 net)
I think the flop was shove was a bit too much of an overbet, I would have raised small, and if he comes over the top, he always has it so you can just fold comfortably.
Also question whether 86s is going to turn a profit here given that UTG2 is never folding and ~always has better pre. i get the bounty situation but we need to be taking value hands post short effective against randoms, otherwise we just double them way too often.
