Hi guys

As the lobbies are flooded with KO MTTīs anybody knows some good video , article or book to study them deeper ?

I have watched some videos already and the callin all inīs thought process seemed to me a little different from a normal MTT , like far more risky at the beggining of the tourney , which surprised me a little bit

Any thought welcome

There's an abundance of information out there just try to google or YouTube some players that are playing KO's, I definitely play a little more loose when the bounties are in because of the added bonus of knocking the player out and getting money right then and there, as for an actual guideline I don't really know if there's an actual system to beat KO's, not like they're that much different from a regular tournament..

When I was looking around I met 2 theories :

1) Some say you play like a normal MTT and that bounties should be an "incidental" bonus

2) Other (the majority) said to risk more at the beginning not only because of the actual bounty prize , also because when you are shorter people are more prone to call YOU when you shove , so you have less FE

It also depends on the particular structure. Bounties in progressive KO's are worth a lot more than in non-progressives so you should adjust your strategy to target larger bounties. I recall reading an article on Upswing a while back that outlines how to factor in the value of bounties to your ev calculations.
