Recently, it came up that I might have missed VPPs because of this and I emailed Stars again.
"PokerStars only permits User ID changes or new accounts when deemed absolutely necessary. Unfortunately, this can be the result of new licenses that require account changes to meet differing regulatory standards. When these account changes occur, we have policies in place to help mitigate the impact by communicating changes to the frequent opponents of these players."
We apologise for the miscommunication regarding the status of your own User ID and appreciate your shared interest in maintaining the integrity of our games. "
So the regulatory issues disappeared in the last couple of months and they should be able to migrate accounts back and forth now. It seems like a weird issue and something Stars don't have a consistent policy on.
The issue of losing FPPS's hasn't been resolved. I was insta forced to change from .com to .uk when I loved from Asia to UK without me notifying them.
Then when I moved to Hungary it took 3 days to change my location and I just realised after a week i'm getting no fpp's. Funny how it's always getting cut short as opposed to extra with these scenarios.
I'm sure they will let me change to UK no prob ha
