V was a bit agro,so I think the 3 bet is standard, anytime to just call here?He is big stacked so there is almost no FE
the thing is then Im out of position, which is the problem with 3 bets from the blinds.
I think the cbet is standard aswell.
Anyone barrel the turn,im already after putting in a third of my stack into the pot,and check folding just seems like ive wasted a lot.

I mean is it sometimes better to just call pf and let the pfr do the pot building, easier to get away from when you miss.
I think im spewing a lot by 3 betting and then cbetting in these situations.

Prefer just flatting pre if villain is agro and doesnt create a bigger pot OOP

Post and turn seem fine, would like a 2nd barrel if we picked up equity on the turn

I've actually swapped my thinking over time in this spot. I used to flat a lot pre, as AJ sucks if you get 4bet! Basically you are ahead of his range, and have got sick of being out flopped by Q8 type junk. I like 3 betting pre, but will fold to 4bet. Yes, I have turned my hand into a bluff technically, but I seems to work better than flattting oop.

You're not turning your hand into a bluff seeing how you'll get a ton of value from his flatting range, but you're right, sucks when you get 4bet.

Anyways, post seems fine. With the A I like the cbet. When that turn comes, I think x/f is the only play.

I see this mistake so often. Your line is very easy to counter. If you think the villain is decent you have to expect to never fold on this flop texture since it does not hit a 3betting range (unless a nit 3bets).
You will fold the best hand on the turn a fair bit here and get owned by position.
If you plan to 3b to cbet you can't give up that easily. Blockbet/f to c/f river is better. Sometimes c/jam is better.
Vs ABC players c/f is certainly good tho.

I prefer calling vs an agroo opponent. You hide your hand strength and you can get good value when you hit flops. AJ is not so powerfull to play OOP against an agroo imo.

AJo is slightly too weak, and if we expect our 3b to get flatted or 4b most of the time then I prefer a flat pre.

yep his stack is so big I now agree with just flatting,i think 3 betting oop leads me into no mans land

Is good to vary ur game 3bet is good , flat is ok also.after the flop the c bet is cool, but is good to know how much fold to c bet ur oponent has. If he has a lot of fold to c bet and now calls, he has a hand , i think something broadway qj q 10, even a a9. if u see ur uponent plays suited conectors a lot., a second barrel is good on the turn.
