i've never thought about laying it down, just wanted to see if anyone would play this hand differently

i figured only hand that could get there was AJss, but AK or AQ, AA, QQ, JJ or 1010 was more likely, still so ****** disgusted about him calling my 3bet OOP with AJ off

What are the possible alternative ways to play it, because I don't see anything that makes sense?

yeah, his range is much more lower sets than str8's. AJ is just plain silly, unless its AJcc. nh, dont be ro.

the only thing you could have done differently is check the flop to disguise/ninja your hand, but the board has draws and stacks are deep so want 3 streets here.

    you played it fine nh

With no reads pre is too big, giving the stacks behind. So you are prob inbalanced with nuts/bluffs sizing, but if he is a whale that's fine.
Trivial jam OTT, he has KQ,QT and sometime slowplayed sets
