Tricky spot with KK's here. This board hits SB and BB pretty hard I figured, so I decided to check behind to pot control. Should I have bet here on this flop? Turn check is pretty standard I guess, if we checked the flop, and we don't want to get raised of our hand with some boat equity. Went for thin value on the river. Which is also standard.
Big question: Bet or check the flop with KK here? Didn't want to get checkraised of my hand with still some queen balls to (likely) the nuts.
I actually don't think the board hits them that well. You'd probably have seen a 3b from 99-JJ and BB's range can be quite wide there. So you're really only worried about SB having JT/J9/T9. But I would probably play it the same way. Once they check the turn you can be sure they don't have Qx.
I cbet flop and i cbet it big. Any Jx is going to call for sure (value) and if he wants to peel looking for his draw i want to punish him to the maximum for the try.
As other poster says 99-TT sure raises pre , we block KQ so we only have to worry for draws and some unlikely double pair...why should be give villain the free card OTT? We hate a lot of cards OTT so lets try to close the action on the flop
About BB he has odds to call with a lot of stuff so OTF i don't worry that much about him
