CO has 15K. He tricked me earlier limp/calling AA preflop, doubling through me. He pretty much is loose passive preflop, but plays backwards (betting/raising mediocre hands/draws, but slowplaying made hands/monsters).

BUT has 30K. He seems pretty solid, and a little on the aggressive side, but this is only from a handful of hands.

Hero (BB) has 8200. I've been pretty quiet at this table, as the ultra-aggressive chipleader is to my left.

Most pots at this table have either been limped, or 3x-4x preflop. This is the first minraise I can remember. Not sure what to make of it.

Blinds are 300/600 (no ante)

UTG folds, MP folds. CO calls 600. BUT minraises to 1200. SB folds. Hero (7600 after posting) looks down at Ah Th. Hero's action?

A suited ace gives you odds to play this pot whether or not you are in position. I'd probably give BTN credit for a big hand if he has seen CO's play style, so tread carefully.

Call and take a flop with excellent odds, and proceed. Look for a chance to isolate BTN post flop.

i know you have a read on CO and BTN but if i were to trust your reads then i wouldnt do whats correct here, id play it scared, and id ultimately lose the pot.

yup. I'd do the same, then I'd post it here to try to get someone to say I did the right thing so I would feel better about it.
