I know you didnt want to talk about your pf call, but really, thats the only thing i can think went wrong here. Odds arent everything...I can be getting great odds to make a call, but if i am holding 72o (or 53o), i also realize the trouble i can get into if i pound the flop. IMO odds are overrated in most minds, and should just be a part of your decision when you are already thinking about calling...It seems like you made this call strictly for the odds you were getting.
For the most yeah. But I would say it was probably 70% odds and 30% position... Maybe 75/25.

I agree with AKbully. on a side note, you have to wonder what she was thinking and from my experiences at showboat, most players in tourneys at showboat are level 1 borderline level 2 thinkers. And from this situation you were up against a girl who limped in EP with Q3, was it at least sooted? lol. so you just have to take note as to what type of level your oponnents are thinking. Level 1, 2, 3, or 4. obviously in this case you were up against a level 1 player. its a tough hand but you shouldnt lose sleep over it. The only thing that would get you away from a hand like this is by observing her tells, looking for something really obvious that you could pick up on. was she showing clevage?

Pretty much the hand I put her on as stated earlier. A couple things in low buy-in donkfests:
1) People suck way worse than you think they do. If you read this website that puts you above average in that field regardless. A $65 live buy-in is seriously equivalent to a $1 or $2 buy-in on Pokerstars.

2) I don't understand all of the comments re: well if OP is going to play 3,5 he has to go with it. Nonsense. Each street is a separate decision. Don't be emotional about it and make the right play. She obviously was a weak player and not likely to come blasting over the top with AQ.

It's an incentive to call. At least you can enjoy her dragging your chips in.

I think it's probably more equivalent to a $10/$15 Buy-In on Stars based on my limited experiences online. But none the less, this has been a great thread.
