Early in the tournament you are dealt AQs in the co. It is folded to you, you:
a) Raise
b) Call
c) Fold

Which is the best play ?
Can an argument be made for each of the choices ?

i would raise every time from the CO if its folded to me.

its a fairly strong hand, even stronger in later positions.

also, the cutoff is the new button...RAISE...

just dont fall too in love with it after the flop if someone calls and you totally whiff...

ok so what do you do if you raise and a BUTTON , SB or BB 3 bet you?

1.fold
2.call
3.4bet

Depends on the size of the re-raise. I basically instamuck AQo, but I do tend to call with AQs for a reasonable size 3-bet with lots of chips behind because we can nail a flop a reasonable % of the time with the sooted AQ. No reason to 4-bet, that is a disastrous play.

Obviously depends on a zillion factors but I'm very rarely folding & mostly calling.

The consensus seems to be raise, but can an argument be made for folding ?

in early position you can fold it without too much worry...CO or button you have to raise...no real other options

Raise from CO and call min 3bet otherwise i would prob fold....not such a bad hand and villians r (i assume) pretty much unknowns...
