Don't like this one. You are making a massive overbet, when the board actually favors OOP here. Your range is going to have a lot less straights, sets and two pairs. I also think you can barrel and get V off weak one pair hands with smaller sizing (maybe 1/3 pot as you aren't concerned about folding out heart draws), as you will still be repping an overpair.

After villain calls a 3/4 pot bet on the flop in a 3-bet pot I'd be much more inclined to check back turn and try to get there. Agreed that you can bet smaller on the flop and give yourself more room to 3-barrel without having to shove turn.

I don't think the overbet shove makes a ton of sense with your range and looks more or less like what you have. KK/AA make some sense, but they still have to be concerned about the board's connectedness (especially since stacks are deep enough for villain to call wider preflop and on the flop), and they won't want to make a bet that might blast TT-QQ off the hand but will always get called by 77-99 / JTs. If you have the set or JTs then you'll want to keep the same range of hands in, as well. Also, your line suggests you're trying to protect against a heart draw or combo draw, but your holding really removes a lot of those hands from villain's range.

How is this tournament still this crazy deep this close to the money? In general I don't like making these huge gambles at or near a bubble.

Pre is fine.

If we're going to bet flop, we are not betting 3/4 pot like ever 4-ways - I can maybe get behind 1/2 pot but even that seems too big. Do think we want to bet because our hand is really strong, but we want to bet a size where we can bet more than just our exact hand. I don't think check is necessarily bad either IP.

As played I dislike turn a ton, we actually win some percentage of the time so there's no need to play for all of it. I like check a lot, maybe some tiny merit to betting small here versus certain villains that will dramatically overfold especially with ICM implications.

*But it's hard to see what hands we fold out when MP calls a 3/4 pot bet in a 4-way pot close to the money. I just have a feeling MP's range here is super nutted especially when we block the most obvious big draw.

**And yes, I'm also confused about stack depths this close to the money.

Like everyone said, pre is totally cool, flop is okay bit of an over bet where it actually looks like you want them to fold, so he may call even wider here with a pair 9's or even something in between, then when you shove the turn it SCREAMS of 2 over cards and a flush draw, or just 2 overs, and I'm assuming he probably called with a lower tier hand and held. Not a terrible play, but not the correct play I would say.
