Used to question these kind of plays before too, but in tournaments with such low buy-ins (in early stages) i later found myself doing it, as bad players in microtournaments dont mind calling an extra BB without changing their range at all, i believe this is profitable against the right player. Simply, building a sort of big pot against hands we dominate. When i 4x i generally play carefully postflop, very rarely doublebarreling and such.
So personally i think theres no wrong with 4xing here.
As this is played, i think our odds for shoving are good so that is what im doing here, im not too worried about callers hand but the minraise UTG kind of frightens me. When we get odds for shoving we obviously get good odds for flatting too.
Although i dont like that much since i find it hard to play 3way if we flop a queen i.e.
Never fold imo.
