This min-raise scares me. Better to flat in this spot? Or do I have enough equity here to shove? What's my best play and why? This is a $1/45 turbo just so you know. I am thinking with these stakes I could get away with a shove here.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, 1.1 Tournament, 25/50 Blinds (9 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

saw flop

MP2 (t4450)
MP3 (t1355)
CO (t1735)
Button (t2155)
SB (t1220)
BB (t1380)
Hero (UTG) (t1695)
UTG+1 (t1415)
MP1 (t1660)

Hero's M: 22.60

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A, Q
Hero bets t200, UTG+1 raises to t350, 1 fold, MP2 calls t350, 5 folds, Hero?

i prolly just shove it here and hope one of them folds
screw his min raise

another line would be calling the 150 and c/f flops unimproved. but i like shoving more somehow here. its a 1$ tourney and AQ is often good here or flipping which is fine as well

folding in a 1$ turbo should not be a option with these stacks.

Just shove, I have seen people minraising with A8s and 66 etc.

Why are you 4x it? Shove now.

Used to question these kind of plays before too, but in tournaments with such low buy-ins (in early stages) i later found myself doing it, as bad players in microtournaments dont mind calling an extra BB without changing their range at all, i believe this is profitable against the right player. Simply, building a sort of big pot against hands we dominate. When i 4x i generally play carefully postflop, very rarely doublebarreling and such.

So personally i think theres no wrong with 4xing here.

As this is played, i think our odds for shoving are good so that is what im doing here, im not too worried about callers hand but the minraise UTG kind of frightens me. When we get odds for shoving we obviously get good odds for flatting too.
Although i dont like that much since i find it hard to play 3way if we flop a queen i.e.
Never fold imo.

I remember playing these.

People would min raise with small pp's and occasionally a crappy ace.

Shove and exploit this ******.

What's wrong w/ 4Xing at at 25/50 from EP w/ a hand we A) want more value of, B) would rather take HU so we don't mind discouraging 1 or 2 extra callers, C) we're in a $1 field, why not exploit them to the max? If we were playing 50/100 I'd agree w/ you that the 4X is out the window unless isoing.

I do agree w/ shoving though at 30BBe ~ when it gets back to us, even deeper in a Turbo you probably just have to go balls to the wall. I could be wrong though, not sure on what exact stack depth, structure, or BI lvl this would be a fold at readless.
