So, there's 13 left in this $2r 500 cap we both sit 3 or 4 of 13. V runs 20/17/11 over 100ish but that's obviously increased greatly since shorthanded, I run similar. V has 3bet shoved at this stack depth twice previously, once on me, once on someone else.

If he's 3bet shoved twice before at this depth, he's doing so fairly light, call and watch him cry.

Given reads I'd be finding a call here. He has almost every one covered except you so I'd expect him to open shove a little more/wider. Had everyone else been playing real tight?

If that's the case you're probably a head in that scenario.

calling 6 handed w AQ vs this villian, we should find some AJ,AT,KQ type hands as well as flips here. Remember the best indicator of future behaviour is past behaviour, so taking this into account, because it his his 3rd time 3b shoving we have to widen his 3b shove range.. so w AQ we are ahead of his adjusted range and thus a call.

My thoughts are:

1) Big stacks sometimes be aggressive against the smaller stacks and he may have done that previously
2) However, you have raised pre EP and are a big stack. So you can put him at risk
3) Sometimes when these Aggro guys do it 3-4 times in a row, they actually then do wake up with a hand on the 3rd or 4th time
4) My feeling on this is, its AK (push and see all 5 cards against the other big stack and willing to go for tourney on it. Or QQ (same sort of sito applys).

Would be keen to know what he had....

I'm a nit so I fold, but I think calling based on reads is solid.

Would be nice to know if villian had shown any hands down previously where he raised/3-bet pre.

Doubt he makes this shove with AA or KK so your most likely flipping. I agree that this is close but with the info you've provided it sounds like he's trying to assert himself over the table and calling is okay (play to win baby!). Sux if he happens to have AK here.
