Usually just doing the math and playing around with stove yields the answer but for some reason I had a hard time coming up with a proper range and decision point for this player. fwiw I folded in game but upon doing the review I wasn't sure if that was the right move or not.

Vil is seemingly a solid player however his opr shows a consistent -30%R over the last two years. I need around 43% equity but if he's shoving 3-4 percent then I don't have that of course. If he's shoving 11% then I'm just about b/e and if I loose - I'm loosing half my stack. I wasn't sure if I should be calling here.

Don't think he's reshoving AA-KK that deep, think most of the time he'd be 3betting it. I put him on QQ-77,ATs+,KQs,AJo+,KQo, (51%) but it might be little too wide. Even if it's more nitty, like QQ-99,AJs+,KQs,AJo+ (47,5%) it's still EV+ call, but I'd be probably having hard time calling there in game. Most certainly folding can't be a big mistake, especially if you have an edge on your table.

Cool, but what range do you think he's reshoving then, because vs those I've mentioned you're 41,63% and 35,78% with AJo, so it's a minus ev call. (44,67% and 39,20% with AJs, so very marginal)

idk, but that range is way too tight in a vacuum. i think its also a mistake to not add a few combos of idiot/punt to his range
