Always call when 25% of stack in as blinds? Always call when 25% of stack in as blinds?

I was wondering if you guys always call when you have 25% of your stack in the middle as the big blind? For example, I have A4o and the blinds were 1/2k and the highjack raised 2.5x pre and he had like 15bb and he went through three big stacks and then me in the bb with 6k left after posting the bb of 2k. I called because i have 25% of my stack in there. You calling there? I know I am behind a lot but still with the odds you must call, right? There was like 12 left in a $12 180?

With 4bbs I would probably have shoved ATC from UTG the previous hand. But as played I call and don't let it come to this again. I think that taking this stack size into the BB should only happen as the result of a loss in the previous hand.

There are scenarios where I fold this, like if 3 others have 1BB left, ...

But yes, 99% of the time, you call. Similar logic applies to shoving UTG the previous hand, which is good advice as well.
