Tournament just started. $130 buy in, 100k guarantee
Hero in BB
UTG raises to 400. 3 callers including the button and SB. I kick it up to 2700. A little to high? They're getting slightly less than 2:1 on a call.
Also, this is my first tournament. I'm 15bb/hr winning player at 1-2 live TAG, sometimes a bit nitty. If you guys have any advice it would be very appreciated.

I think its just right. I would make it 2800. So I think your instincts are good!
However, it depends on opening stacks or really the effective stack size. If the effective stack is 9,000 then we are right at the edge of shoving. If the effective stack size is <9,000 then I would just shove.

What were the stack sizes and blinds? Objectively, it is reasonable to raise that much into 4 players OOP. I guess no one called, which isn't a disaster with AK. You could raise less if they won't call that much. It is pretty likely you have JJ+/AK 3-betting OOP early, but what can you do.
