Two hands from today's Saturday Micro

Hand 1: Calling 4bet with AKo. I think I should have either folded or shoved, right?

This was the second hand V played over ~35 hands. This was also the third hand V saw me play.

I would incline towards folding, what do you guys think?

Hand 2: Folding an overpair OTT

Here I have no idea what to do.

V is 19/10/0 over 73 hands.

What is V's range? I can't think of anything else than JJ, 99, 88, A9.

It might have been better to just call in the BB? As played, c-bet smaller and fold to a raise, if called, bet turn? I really don't know.

Hand 1 : 3bet is fine, but would fold the 4bet. Way too deep with AKo to be too active and try to scoop the pot. There'll be other spots!

Hand 2 : Seems fine to me. Would check/call flop, and check/fold if he bets turn. Don't think he often pushes a draw that hard, seems like protection to me

Agree with the way you played both hands.

On hand one, could have folded to 4bet if you want to wait for a better spot to commit a lot of chips but there's no other way to play that. You have strong odds and position and a good hand.

Hand two is played pretty much exactly correctly. There's a lot of danger there the way the hand was played (88, 99 each make sense there, as does premiums). In the absolute best case scenario you have a lot of draws/overcards to fade on the river. Maybe he had complete air there but I don't know what you're really beating as played.

Why not just shove the first hand PF after he 4bets you?? Would it really make sense to 4B you with AA or KK?

Makes sense to masstablers for which this is like ~1/50 BI of a day's set.

Not so much if it's the 1st hand of a single tournament.
