I'm kicking myself right now because for some reason i felt i could have played this hand better. Is this a right shove 20 people till bubble?

Flatting is weak imo. But what do u guys think ur the good players....

Also new to converting let me know what i could have done to make it clearer.

obv villain is bad if he's gonna 4x open, so out play him post.

You're a little deep to shove, I would flat if villain is spewy post, or 3bet/call to induce from worse hands.

yeah the big mistake was you just going all-in preflop. Your M value was 13 so you had enough chips to throw in a healthy raise and what happens on the flop

The shove is def +EV. Question is, is it EV enough to do it on the bubble? I think yes.

Its not the bubble, its 20 to bubble. Shoving is crazy imo cause AQ- and all non pair hands will not call that shove (I would only shove QQ+ IF Im sure villain is one of those donks who cant ever find the fold button after they enter a pot), in fact villains call is spewy (unless you been shoving wild before). You can flat and see a flop in position or you can 3bet/call, plenty of room still.

Thank you all, What i've learned from this post is that i was to close to the bubble, and had to many chips to shove all in preflop. I should have tried to win this hand postflop, by either 3betting or flatting.

once again thank you all.

Shoving is fine vs the 4x open. If you 3-bet to 12.4k or whatever you're going to have a pot sized bet left on the flop. GL outplaying someone with that stack to pot ratio.

Am I missing something? What do you want to do on the 65% of flops you'll miss, with about a psb behind (after 3b) and without the opportunity to openshove? I'm happily jamming this pre (esp near the bubble if they are scared), although I'm a bit less happy than usual cuz of his stack. Due to his stacksize though there isn't a big difference between his calling range and his 4b range, and AK plays best with 5 cards to come and obv performs quite good vs said range. Also, you want to have a monster stack yourself to be able to keep up maximum pressure (again, esp near and after the bubble), so go for it, it's worth it. Just my 2c tho.

Cliffs: lol mincash

you guys are so far off...shove is 10000% fine...so is 3 bet calling

if the dude 3Xed I imagine I 3 bet call...since he 4xed I am shoving always here

also if I 3 bet I ain't folding many flops hit or miss

If this is like the $3 MTT's I play on stars, then 20 from the bubble means the bubble is going to be in about 2 or 3 hands.

I'm surprised at all the people who are saying shoving AK over HJ opener - standing to win 20% of your stack if he folds - is a crazy mistake. HJ is probably opening about 20% of hands.

Yeah, I totally agree here. Esp on if it's a 3x vs a 4x.

I think he meant the general consensus, not that he's ignoring your post.
