I was playing at a tourney today in Macau. Structure wasn't deep and blinds increased pretty fast. starting stack of 5000 and blind levels 25-50, 50-100, 100-200 (20 min levels)
Doubled up pretty early. Next hand guy with 30bb opens (he opened a lot), next guy with 50 bb shoved all in. I am sitting with AKoff. I tanked and folded thinking it was too early to race and I already have a good double up. Easy fold or a snap call?
Btw the board ran Q, 10, J, 4 and K. So i hit my straight and K also.
Guy who opened had 88 and guy who shoved had 66.
