No real read on the player..he had been pretty quiet from the few hands I had seen him play (table change) just did not have a good feeling about it and felt i was flipping at best. Is this a snap call or an easy fold?

I hate when people don't just shove there. It makes me think they're trying to fool you into shoving or something. That said, I just shove and watch them flip over KK.

Regardless of your feeling you are usually well ahead of villain's range at a short handed table when stacks are this short in a $2, ppl don't know that open shoving is an option alot of the time, doesn't mean their range is super tight or anything.

Hero Shoves.

no question that u have to shove here imo villain only has roughly 12bbs so his shoving range should be very light here. A lot of players still just raise with 12bbs instead of shoving but this mostly doesnt mean they have stronger hands. And if u get lucky hes a complete donk and raise-folds with 12bbs
easy shove

Either ahead or behind is going to be close absent any reads. Folding or calling or shoving IMO are going to be pretty close in cEV here so any mistakes you make are likely to be small.

If blinds aren't going up soon and/or it's a 180 where 7-handed won't last for long then I fold and wait for better spot. If it's a 45-man I probably shove because we're likely to be 7-handed for a while which means my effective M is even lower than the indicated M=6.6, plus the players in 45s are slightly better than in 180s if you ask me.

I would lean towards folding. Someone who's too cute to push with a stack that small probably has some real power in their hand. Better than AJo anyway.
