What is the best way to play Aj in this spot?Shove, call and use Stop and Go if it will be to players in the pot?Or just fold and wait for better opportunity?Opponent raise last three hands.
Thanks for answering.

Need a bit more on his image. Raising the last 3 hands isn't much he might have had a good run of cards. What about before that? what has he been limping with, calling raises with. How loose/tight is he?

$2 tourneys are so bad I am sure a lot of people will say shove, but personally without the reads I have to give them a little credit.

I would find flatting ugly with your current M so personally I would fold without more of a read.

I am a nit though.

i prolly just fold AJo vs a UTG+1 raise

him raising the last 3 hands makes it a tougher decision thou, but small sample size...

and dont request time FFS, if you shove and dont have AK/QQ make it a < 5sec decision

You can't really stop and go here your OOP, and a call here gets insta shoved into on lots of flops. If he's raised the last 3 hands in a row I don't think it's a total spew to shove this, but I'd be more worried about shoving my decent stack into the 6 other stacks behind than I am about UTG1.

AJ is mediocre strong 7 handed here, but UTG1 has show some strength and you have lots of pretty deep stacks behind, combine all those factors and I think you can lay this down here.

I'm getting giddy though, I can't wait for a spot in position when we are say BTN and UTG1 is CO, and tries this same crap though!

If he's raising that much lets 3bet the crap outa him...but wait to do it till you don't have tons of people left to act!

this feels like a spew of chips. I'm laying this down unless u have some kind of monster read..

first of all you cant stop and go when you are last to act

secondly without a bigger history sample i think this is a fold in this position. I wouldnt necessarily mind it on the cutoff/button but still too much action behind to shove here

what is your image? i know its a $2 tourney so he is not assessing hand ranges but have you been rather lag or tag? has he shown the ability to call off light? has he folded to many or any 3 bets/4 bets?

i consider your shove to be thin and im not sure how spewy a flat is here so i probably just fold

i disagree with your last sentence. i have picked up tells on guys by the time that they take to shove. i would take time with this shove just like i would if i had AA

im not playing the same vs good players as i am vs bad ones

from my experience, if i wait and shove vs bad players im getting funny calls. if i shove with A2s over a BTN raise and do like i have a strong hand they fold.
