Kind of a weird spot the other night on Bovada. $5.50 nl ty

75/150 no ante

Hero (31 bb's) UTG raise 350 with AJdd

mid pos (43bb's) calls 350

lo jack (19 bb's) calls 350

CO (8 bb's) calls 350

Button (9 bb's) shoves

sb fold

bb fold

Hero???

There was only one guy that had me covered and if I remember correctly I didn't feel anyone had a huge hand, (the short stacks probably would have shoved if they did) but I had a feeling if I called It was going to be a 5 way allin.

What do you guys think?

It's BOVADA call with worst hand, suck out and win. Otherwise---you should almost never be ahead here.

Stop opening AJ UTG, unless you like getting into spots like this.

Shove or fold. Calling and playing OOP with an SPR of 1 will suck.

Not counting the button, nobody has JJ+ or AK.

I gamble here, but that's just me.

Slowplaying QQ+ here is the perfect spot. There are multiple stacks behind that are short, that might go allin making UTG try to isolate. Even the 2nd caller could have QQ+ here since the more callers the juicier it is for someone to squeeze thinking just like you.
So while I wouldnt remove those hands from anyones range I still fold AJ in this spot.

Still fine to open at times UTG

No man. AJ suited is fine to open UTG as long as you dont overplay it. But if this type of calling was standard at the table then yes, opening AJ UTG is bad. But in general I think its as long as you dont go broke with hand everytime you hit and someone holds a better ace

#1--it's Bovada--multiway calls are standard.
#2--it's micro/low tnry. 90% of players WILL over commit with AJ
#3--I've seen it a million times, get stacks in with TP only to be out kicked by AQ or AK.

There's no reason to get mixed up with this hand OOP this early in trny. Still a long way from money. Why put yourself in spots like this when there is so much trny left?

I'm shoving here - unlikely to have more than 9BB at risk and ranges are not strong - the likely dead money makes it +EV

I think AJs is OK to open UTG - prob folding AJo w/o antes
