someone please tell me what in the **** I am doing wrong

I would have raised it up to about 1040 preflop. I think your raise is too small. But as played, its a joke that he won and I have been running like this on stars for a while now but you WILL come out ahead in the long run. Though I run like **** now on Stars, I have still won 20k from their site so Im not going to stop playing on there...

Anyway, OP it's just a cooler. Don't worry about it man. You need to be able to take these times 1,000 to be successful at handling the variance in poker. People are giving you a hard time because of the way you responded and because the hand is BBV. Just take it easy, don't worry about it, and win next time.

I handle a ton of variance in my regular games and it's fine. I just am not ****ing allowed to win in MTTs it is ****ing incredible.

Variance in MTTs is huge. Happens to everyone man. I totally understand that you're pissed because it seems particularly bad. But you need to manage your emotions better and ignore the hands like this one where you made a fine play. Focus on hands where you might actually be making a mistake (i.e. not this hand). If you go into MTTs thinking you're not allowed to win, you'll make bad plans and you won't win.

You post a bad beat in a strategy forum. That's what the BBV thread/forum is for.
