I decided to shove otf , we do have outs and fold equity and i'm just too aggro post!!! lol.

2ed - $180
3rd - $100
4th - $75
5th - $60

I'd just cbet 1\2 the pot. I think it accomplishes the same result as shoving. Not like he's going to fold TT here, is he? There are no draws on this board for you to protect against and you're not representing AA\KK\ because you are a good player and ''wasting all the value'' with AA and KK doesn't make sense. I have a feeling that he's gonna peel this flop most of the time tough...

Your shove exactly looks like
Spoiler:
... AK .
You have a drawing hand + position, so you could always check behind the turn or even check the flop instead.

I'd stay away from the other big stack bro... Nothing wrong by letting this hand go and pick your fight against someone else.

You might want to use ''Bold'' character and spaces for the important actions. I'm having a hard time following this.

like this maybe?

The flop doesn't hit your openrange, i'd check behind otf. If you shove you are isolating against hands that beat and you are not representing anything shoving on that flop.

You don't rep anything otf apart from ace high or over cards. U don't play a set like that.

so puzo your saying shoving with a gut shot otf is bad play?

sorry but i disagree.

and if u can explain why u think this is not well played please tell me man, im here to learn init

like i said we do have fold equity...and if called we have outs. V has to make a tough call here for all their stack.

3b is way too small, flop seems like you rip well over pot? just b/f small

i guess checking back or b/f small is fine here too , I mean there's no need to really shove here otf , i just thought i had the fold equity to do this and if u think about v will connect otf 1 in 3 times so there's a good chance he's folding.

maybe if i had a bigger draw it would of been better like a pair + gut shot or a gut shot and two overs ect

also hero had position i could of just controlled the size the of the pot and checked it back , could had got away from this hand cheaply.

Depends what you put villain on. If he has 77-JJ he didn't need to hit anything...

true say yeah , it depends obv on Villians 3bet calling range. I discount strong hands when they flatted the 3-bet , i think if V had a hand like JJ+ and AK they prolly 4bet shove this so basically they could call here with small to mid pocket pairs and hands like KJs KQs or maybe even weaker hands , since my 3bet was weak , and they're getting good odds to call.

anyhow villain had 78s

WOW... I guess he was sure you had AK...nice play from his part. Either he's a good player with good reads or he always call top pair weak kicker against big raises which is extremely exploitable.

Yeah I'm with Puzo, the only problem with shoving flop is that it really doesn't represent anything - like it's pretty unlikely that you play your value hands that way (more likely you'd bet like a third pot or something) and so from the villains pov it kinda looks like you're FOS and don't really have anything.

Also I think you said villain is fit or fold, so I'd just Cbet like a bit over 1/3 pot and go from there (but I think checking back is fine too)

@turningham , yeah i agree. Also our draw is not strong , so i reckon we could either make a small cbet or check it back which are both appropriate line.

as for my value hand's sometimes I check raise it , sometimes i bet half the pot and i do the same with my semi/bluffs , it's important to balance your range, but at these levels i dont think they are on that thinking level.
