looks terrible. Jx won't call with such a tiny pot. I'd bet turn, let pp's and diamonds call. 90 on turn, vbet river.

I'm leading out on the flop 5 handed. Someone must have hit this flop, and if not then you're probably not getting paid off anyway.

Donk lead the flop with a min bet. In fact, donk lead any paired board from the blinds.

turn check is really bad here, you need to put a bet out there dont wait until the river with 5 players in the hand...

What could they possibly have hit? The only 2 things they could have truly hit is the case A (in which case I am likely to get paid anyways), or if they had pocket dueces, where again I am likely to get paid.

The only other hope is someone with a pair, but I surely get more value out of them by checking, and then maybe someone getting frisky with a gutshot wheel draw. There are no other possible draws. In essence, I drank up this flops milkshake.

It's a way to bluff catch. Check/check/overbet will never you get paid off. If you bet something low on the flop, someone at the table will often make a hero move on the pot.

At this level, why won't someone with 67 call a <1/2 pot bet here, two diamonds will call, and if you're bet is small enough to be a donk bet, you get bluff-raised. And if you're lucky enough that someone else has an A and playing the same way you are, you don't want to risk your action getting killed by another diamond on the river. Checking the flop is fine, you need to bet the turn.

The turn I can see. I was responding to the guy saying "Someone must have hit this flop".

I actually oveshoved because the flush hit, wouldn't have done it with out that.

Possible for PPs to come along.

Not probable for them to come along multiple streets without catching. I'll bet this flop sometimes on call-happy tables, but definitely start firing on the turn.

Lets pretend I bet the turn, is the overbet still a good idea when the flush hits?
