Fellas in March I'm going to Vegas with 20~ pals for a dual stag/stagette. My brother is 20 (underage by 3 months, owned) and he wants to come but he's wondering about drinking/being part of things. Getting him a fake ID or something isn't an option, I don't want him to get into trouble but does anyone have any experience with being underage in Vegas?

Clubs it depends. Some you will be able to grease the bouncers, some you won't. Everywhere else you can probably do it. Vegas operates on a lot of under the table tipping to get what you want.

I don't have any experience being underage in Vegas but I have been out with people who are underage before. I've also been out where underage people can't get in. I guess that doesn't help to much

We probably won't even go to actual clubs, probably just places like Piano Bar at NYNY, but have resigned to him not getting into those places. I guess I'm just being a nit, concerned about him roaming the strip drinking but there won't be anyone policing his ID if he's got a beer on LV blvd. I'm just a nervous nit.

Based on my experience 95%+ of 2p2ers are cool IRL.

The semi-anonymous internet probably brings out the kinds of flaws you only see when you know someone IRL for a long time.

- ask for a group rate everywhere you go. in my experience establishments don't ask for an ID too hard in those situations. are you comfortable with bluffing in this spot dude?

You will be totally fine. Vegas is built around drinking. Police aren't trying to stop people from drinking unless they are doing something really absurd, and I've seen tons of absurd things that have been allowed.

He also got in once! He might have looked 14 so they let it go.

I remember when I tried to get in to Tao with my fake ID and big jew beard and the bouncer snapped me off. Had to pay him $75 to get it back and you had to do the deal for me and get the ID so he could do it without getting caught giving an ID back by the club security cameras.

Was a sick beat because he was contemplating my $50 offer and I thought he was contemplating amount so I went to $75 but he was just thinking about how to do it for the $50 without the cameras noticing. He made me pay the $75

Yeah I doubt you'll have an issue if you're bringing him beer outside of places as long as a cop isn't there watching you do it. Just hang out outside of open-air places (IE O'Sheas) and he'll be fine.

They stopped my mate at XS 2 years back (he was 30) due to his drivers license being expired.
Us explaining that if your license is expired you're ldo older than 21 didn't work. We had actually booked a table as well, but they didn't care, so we left.
Then 2 hours later a friend went home when we were at a bar and he gave my mate his passport (both are ginger-ish) and we went back to XS.
Passport got thoroughly studied by 2 bouncers and then we could go in.
They were prolly thinking "these idiots from Northern Europe all look alike."

Cliffs: make sure you're a ginger and borrow random passport.

I recently decided to go on my own dime and switch my attention from MTTs to learning SNGs for the first few months of the year, so I figured I'd stop in and say hey/familiarize myself with the sub-forum...gunna be focusing on the 15 18s to start and doing a bunch of work with ICMizer before hopefully moving up to the 30s (pretty sure they're still beatable for a decent clip, at least according to SS?)

Any helpful tips aside from the standard no money in sngs/inb4youkillyourself/etc. would be appreciated haha

Expired DLs get thrown away, sold, given to younger brothers etc I would think. And then they aren't fake, so they have a real hologram or w/e. Matching someone to a pic is hardly foolproof.
