I think that going all-in is good. There are four main scenarios:
1) He has an overpair (80% to him)
2) You have an overpair (80% for you)
3) He has two overcards (50%-55% for you based on suits)
4) He has two random cards (60%+ for you)
In most cases you are well ahead.
