A general question I should know the answer to/ should have asked sooner, for those of you who can afford sngwiz; Say we are heads up in a 9 man turbo sng and the blinds are 300/600. If the villain calls, say, K8s/22+ how much of our range are we shoving? Am I right in saying shove everything? If he/ I take a chiplead how does it affect our shoving range? Thanking you in advance.

Joe.

id say the range i am shoving depends heavily on 1) stacksizes and 2) type of villain.

oops, i didnt really notice the calling range.
i dont use sng wiz, but if stacks are under 10bb, id probably only fold the worst hands.

In heads up, with both hero and villain around ~10BBs, there are many players who I'm literally pushing every single hand against.

Your villian is one of them. Let's say he's calling like so: Roughly top 25%, meaning every Ax, 22+, KT+, K8s+, QTs+.

I have 6000, he has 7500. I am SB and first to act.

Wiz says to literally push every single hand. If he's calling 25% or tighter, which a LOT of players do, you should push every single hand.

Many times, I will start a heads up session pushing every single hand, and then scale back a bit if it continues for 10 or more hands. When I've pushed 5 SBs in a row, many players will open up and call looser because they hate you.

Say you abuse someone's blinds and they decide to open up to roughly 33%. This is Ax, 22+, K6+ QT+, K2s+, Q8s+, J9s+. You still have 6000, they 7500.

At this level, we should be pushing the top 72% of hands. Very roughly, any hand with a card T or higher, 22+, and a few assorted other hands.

If I feel like I've been abusing this random enough that he's noticed, i will cut back to this level of pushing HU. If I think I'm playing against a good reg who knows he can call wide and understands ICM, I will use roughly this range. Otherwise, against a random donk, I'm often pushing everything.

Much appreciated. Thanks

Cheers will do, What about the spots where we've just doubled through and villain is pissed off with 3BB. We still shoving rags when we know we're getting called almost every time?

when the stack sizes are as small as 3BB it generally doesn't matter what we have, pooooooooosh.

There are 1.5BBs already in the pot. Small stack as 3BBs. No matter how bad your hand, those odds are delicious.
