Mine and Bunkervogel's acxounts got hacked too a week ago as well. Mine was just a pass change, I got hold of the account back and the $$$ in it. Bunker got his email hacked as well and finally got his accnt back and all the $$$.

Not sure how 888 handles that but God forbid I get a hold of the perpetrator/s IP.

To be honest, given the shadiness of all these breaches and the easiness with which they bypassed several security measures, to me this smells like an 888 internal breach, as in someone got access to their customer accounts' db and info, thus to passwords and emails

i have RSA for stars stars.FR skrill bank etc 888 and party are the only 2 places i have any sort of balance that would hurt me to get hacked and would feel alot better with some more security than a password.

Did ask over a year ago was hoping was some progress on the matter.

These seem like all different ways they have gone about it and it's really worrying. How the **** this happens is beyond me.

None of my emails have been hacked, someone just created a new email address and changed email address on my account. I have no idea how someone just changed your pw. Shady as hell, and quite worrying really.

People have been asking for added layers of security for 888 accounts for years. Its obvious that 888 doesnt give two ****s about player security. It would be absurdly simple for them to implement rsa tokens or a personal pin number, they could even charge us gold tokens to purchase the extra security.

My advice is to not keep any more $ on the site than you can afford to lose. And also to just keep skrill/net cycling to keep a small balance on the site, its costing them quite a bit in skrill fees every month that people do this. Hopefully at some point they will realize what a stupid business decision this is.

at the very least could you make it so people are emailed when their email/pw has been changed? "your pw has been changed, if this was not you please contact us etc"..
This is super standard just on normal websites/accounts, kinda shocking you don't have this when money is involved.

I just changed passwords on all sites after reading this thread and the only one site that DIDN'T send me an email was 888.

hey guys, my 888 account has been hacked too. i have not been online since sunday and was not able to log in to my account today. checked my email and they reset my password on monday and dumped the money off playing cash.

have you all had similar experiences? account is now locked but would appreciate some advice on how to proceed. this is ludicrous that they were able to get so many of us

as a mid stakers player my preference would be if they just bumped up the gtd of their existing $25 deep stack. make the gtd worth playing and im all over it.

for high stakes players im not sure what id add in that spot. any suggestions?

I even went through my emails login log, and no one even tried to get into my email account. So it's crazy that someone can change the email address on your account and you not be notified in any way at all.

Sorry to hear this dude. I am still going through the process with my account, but expect long delays between emails and essentially no info about how it occurred or even what is going on. I haven't even been told if my account is locked or w/e so if you've been told that then you are doing better than I am with support.

But really I've just felt completely helpless through the whole ordeal. It's kinda out of our hands so all we can do is keep emailing support and try to stay patient.

I was able to get the person I talked to on the phone to lock my account although it's fairly pointless as they've dumped off all of the money already. Other than helping me with that once thing he was fairly incompetent tbh.

Seems targeted as I just won the megadeep on there last week. (I know a.s.e high had some success on there not too long ago too so seems likely theyre targeting ppl) Have no idea how they would know the email account as it's not really associated with anything else and I don't give it out.

Also, just realized that my email account is only linked to p5s. Is yours too? I think this might have been a breach on p5s because I don't see how else they would have gotten my info.

Make the nightly "Cyclone" a re-entry. There is nothing else to play at that time and it does not reach its guranteed prizepool that often. With reentries it might. And people get top play something interesting eve if they bust.
