villian seemed to be playing nitty. Are we too deep to reship here? or is it standard? I mean do you think it is more profitable in the longterm to ship or flat and play it post?

stats on v? like really f'in nitty?

i'd 16.5k/f > flat imo, but it's v dependent and both options seem ok

against some tardos you can 3b/c

Is villain playing straightforward postflop?I think we could flat here and have easy decisions postflop.
Less then @ 22bb i'm probably just shoving,27bb seems a little too much,i don't think is that bad,but given your read that he's nitty and the fact that we should have an edge over the field w/t a comfortable stack i rather flat.
    I don't like 3b/f that much,rather 3-bet blockers and 3b/c seems spewy don't think we should induce w/t 88 here.

I didn't have stats on him but yes he was defntly nitty. With only 10 ppl left I think he and much of the table was waiting on the bubble to burst before opening up. What are your guys thoughts on a little variation of the stop and go.. ie: flat pre and donk/fold any flop?

I dont really like 3b/f either, he can 4b us off with AK,AQ,77,66.

    3b/f just stinks. Flat it.

I don't really like your shove either. Too deep.

I don't think shoving is completely insane, but it's probably not optimal unless the people to your left are psycho 3bettors. If the people to your left aren't the type to jump on a great squeeze opportunity, flatting is better. I think a mini 3bet is also ok and may even be optimal if the BB is an aggro post flop player or the button is likely to limp along.

So, depending the tendencies of the villains to the left, either mini 3bet or flat.

If you flat, you should probably float most flops and bet a checked turn tons. If you decide to 3bet, follow through with a cbet on the flop.

It's an interesting hand, yeah, I think if you're ahead pre, and you're always correct when you jam like this it will over time show a profit, kind of a max value type of spot imho.

They do get tighter in later stages...almost nit like.

I guess you were feeling it

Against a nitty player you should get the same result/info with a normal 3-bet that you get with a shove. But I agree that 3b/f'ing doesn't sound to good here because you have a hand with a lot of value 5 handed.

I think calling pre and playing post seems the better option.
