Not sure what to do here, not doing too well against his range but it must be close to 50/50. Now that I look back at the hand i think I prefer a shove or fold over a call but since I had position and felt like folding 88 was to weak, I called looking for a safe F. On that F even his bluffs had good equity agaisnt my hand so I decided to let it go, any comments ?

You have a large sample of hands and he has a 3b of 9.2 - what is his 3b from the BB?

1/11 from BB counting this 3bet. He had 1/16 from SB vs UTG. So im guessing it must be like 6/7 %? So it was probably a fold pre.

Yeah, 3b from the BB are usually much stronger than from other positions because it is so cheap to defend from there and the BB closes the action. Plus the 3b is fairly large so you don't have the odds to set mine.

I think I'm folding to the 3bet pre to that size especially given positions. If this were CO/BTN vs BB it would be different and I just might ship it in. But you're in early position and he's going to defend a wide range HU by calling. Given that he raises I would lean more towards the top of his 3bet range.
