so when I called the flop bet. I figured villain had air, with maybe one club. the check raise on the river almost got me to fold, but i didn't think someone who had flopped a flush would play it like that.

was this a bad turn call?

Hmm. I don't like the double barrel, Esp the sizing. He may know you're on a draw and shoving over with any 9, T, over pair, flush, fd or air. I'd check the turn. As played, I'd fold his shove.

By betting the turn, you're basically asking him to commit himself. So before you bet, how willing are you to call a shove? That's his only play after your turn bet, or on the river. I'd check that turn and finish the hand cheap. You're still beat a lot and only have 6 outs to nail that straight, and even then it's vulnerable to higher straights or flushes. To me, this is one of those hands you'd love to go nuts on but shouldn't.

As played, you're getting just barely over 2-to-1 to call, so odds don't justify chasing. You beat nothing but big draws (excluding Ac9x or AcTx) or the rare total bluff. Let it go.
