87s UTG Push or not?

A live hand from tonight:

£10 buy in tournament; 25 enter, top 3 cash (125/75/50) - starting stack 10k

Blinds t2000-4000, going up to t3000-6000 next hand, 8 players left.

Hero has 8c7c UTG, 27k in chips (about average).

There have been quite a few shoves & calls in the last orbit but practically every hand shown has been top 10%.

With that in mind, are we pushing or folding here?

I think pushing is fine here, one more pass through the blinds will seriously damage our fold equity and our hand is strong enough that it's probably +cEV vs tightish players anyway.

Same tournament, just about 60 mins earlier.

8 person table, Hero has played aggressively for the last orbit - even making an UTG limper lay down QQ (!) a couple of hands ago.

Blinds t400/800

UTG Folds, UTG+1 Calls 800 (Friendly guy but a bit of a donk)

Hero is next to act and raises to 3200 with JJ

All fold to UTG+1 who calls the 2400

Flop Q 10 8 r.

UTG+1 waits a second before betting 6000 into a 6900 pot.

Hero...?

That's a debatable question. There's some argument to be made for pushing any two cards. Some people still prefer to be kinda tight. I don't know if this spot has been solved. It's hard to work out.

Genereally in spots like this u should push even wider in livegames, in this spot I like pretty much all suited, all pairs obv, all connectors and most onegappers and so on. Basicly almost any two without the crappiest of the crap.
