$80 live MTT in AC, original stacks 10K, no ante. Blinds 300/600. Most pots are not raised. You have 11,300; villain and most of table covers. UTG, who just sat down at table raises to 1600. You are in 3rd position. What range are you pushing? Do you ever flat?

Personally i don't flat we're not deep enough unless we're bladed and then i still shove most of the time cos its lol live poker and we end up with 4+ players going to the flop.

not enough info to decide on ranges, especially info on villain.

id flat 99-jj, aq since we're ip and shove + for value maybe.

wchu doing in AC? getting ready for spring open?

Was there with friends. Used to play a lot live, but have been mostly grinding online MTTSNGs lately.

I actually pushed with TT and UTG called with JJ. He called quickly but with sort of a sigh. Wondered if I should have folded because people weren't raising that much and TT might not be good versus his UTG raising range.

The thing is are you really getting called worse from a new player when you shove 1010 for value here assuming hes competent by his raise sizing. JJ is tougher id prlly shove it for value.

You obv. cant fold 1010 in that spot thats too tight, but you can flat..that was my reasoning for my previous post anyways..

btw whats villains chipstack and payouts.
