I don't really have much info on the player since he just recently joined our table, but I clicked search and saw he was in a few big mtts and was playing like 8 so I figured he's somewhat semi regish atleast.. but is there any point to stack off with 7's having the good stack/edge we have at this point?

I prefer a fold here, think I'd call with 99+ AQ+, possibly AJ.

Doubt he 3b ships 20bigs with any hands we dominate other than the lower PPs but that's a small range of hands. May be +cEV to call mathematically but it'll be marginal and we have a v.nice stack to wait for better spots with. Inb4 someone explains why I'm wrong but that's how I'd play it.

It's close, 77 would probably be the top of my folding range and I would call with 88. Since he's new to the table he'll also be readless

seems like a perfect spot for v to reship wide. you opening co, him with a great reship stack. 22-66 is very very much in his range here... if you lose you still have 29bb. If we want to accumulate every single chip in a tournament you cant be raise/folding spots like this im calling here.

I think this is going to be breakeven at best versus the majority of semi regs. If he was a random, it's a snap-fold. A reasonable range for him is A9s/66 or something. If he gets any tighter than this you are getting more and more boned.

I'm really arrogant but I would fold because I assume a pretty decent edge over the field and would much rather have your stack than the resulting stack after losing. Snapping 20bb stacks with mid pockets requires some substantial statistics to back it up. Don't just assume he's 3-bet jamming perfectly because he's playing more than 1 table.

your edge comes from finding and getting in +EV spots and not from passing on +EV spots
