I am not sure that flop is best to cbet + AK has high cards value. Double suited and with 1 gapper , paired but ..Also if you plan to get it in with that swallow stacks on the flop then check/raise(shove) should fold some more of his range (maybe more often smaller pairs like 22-77).
Flop is prutty bad for a cbet, but a small cbet should still be profitable (and might be what I prefer given we are oop (say like 200 max)). Hmmm, checking looks better. Id never call that flop, but I dont play that high + Id cbet less. Realising how short villain is, checking looks way superior.
against a player with those stats, i would make it 5x preflop at 25/50. it's a bummer you only have 60 hands. i would be playing this hand largely dependent on what previous info i had on the player. as played and with little info, i would check the flop and see what he does. you can call a smallish bet, but if he throws out something sizeable, i would give him credit and wait for a better spot. its still early in the game; no need to get into a penis showing contest with ace high. the next time you raise him with a big pair, he calls, and you check to him, you will likely get paid.
C bet small/fold, check/fold to a big bet, check/call a tiny bet are all viable in this spot imho. If our opponent is super floaty, I prefer checking and deciding whether to peel based on his bet sizing.
AF? Flopbet?
He has to be shoving a lot if you plan to b/c, so if that's your read I guess c/shove >> b/c cause you get him to b/f a lot and deny him the opportunity to shove.
i would like a bigger sizing a lot bigger sizing pre. we know he limp calls a lot of the time so get more money in pre with a value hand like AK that wins at showdown a bunch. i dont mind pricing myself in and playing for stacks here
