ss 70/30 no reads

So I remember hearing/reading some strat that said never push a weak hand 4h or 5h (if the blinds are getting you) - let the blinds come around so villian pushes into you.

When I ran this is WIZ it came right on the edge.

So what is the good general approach? I dont think I would push K2o here, or even A2o, but QTs seems like I would auto shove?

Or is 2+BB still too early? how diff would it be if my stack was 1.75BB?

I think that letting the blinds get to you is an awful advice, your fold equity tends to be 0, and unless some villain has a monster (AQ+) you will get multiple callers.

This is a snap shove IMO.

from experience I'd say at least about 30% of the time it's going to be folded to the big blind, and sometimes, probably about 25% of the time, even the BB will fold!

FYI, I think shoving 97s here is automatic.

Are their no antes on Merge. I'm sure that should mean your range should be tighter, but maybe not since the payout is 70/30 I believe.

Im just too tight in 3h-4h situations, and overvalue weak As and Ks while undervalueing 89s etc.
