i like the check behind.we can improve significantly, and i think pot control is mandatory.
we wont fold out many hands, but run into a c/r often enuff when c-bet.
proceed with caution imo

I'm in the check back camp here too. That's a pretty wet flop - flush, diamond and broadways

c betting looks pretty bad its not 2005 anymore where a c bet works 95% of the time

your gonna get c/r a ton here. you can improve to the best hand alot. and if not you can c bet the turn and take it down a ton as if he checks twice he never has it

this shows why position is so important as well

I feel here we can fold out a lot of better hands out of his range by c/betting the flop. 22-99 all fold, JJ and QQ may fold, AJ and AQ folds most of the time. We are really assigning him a very narrow range that hits this flop hard, and it's not like he ever c/r bluffs with stacks the way they are, so if he c/r's you it's an easy fold.

I'm kinda undecided, been playing a lot of HU poker lately and that's maybe clouding my view here since their range HU is much wider pre flop than it is here.

njd - i thinkg we can fold out most of the 22-77 type hands just as easily by betting the turn. can probably also fold out AJ AQ type hands because if they miss the turn then they only have one chance to imrpve and a lot dont like to call and hope for a river gutshot.

how do we determine how often he bet the turn, (because you checked the flop), with a hand he would have folded on the flop had you cbet?
