well t9s is ahead against a random hand (54%), but if you lose you will likely have to push the next hand again after just showing down that you shove very light.

I would much rather push here if BB wasnt coerced into calling.

shoving 9 high into a bb that has to call you is a bad idea...

It's T high. I don't know if it makes a difference.

My thoughts were

1. I only have about 6 effective BB
2. The blinds are coming
3. Only one guy has me covered
4. I am a head of the BB's range
5. There is some overlay

Sounds like you guys are saying that my image is more important at this point. I will fold this in the future thanks. What's the earliest position we can shove it from into a bigger stack and a committed BB?

i dont like the shove because of BB's stack because when you shove and lose blinds are still coming to hit you and will **** you even harder.

even after blinds hit you now, you have some fold equity. if you shove and lose, this isnt the case

Yea just fold, wiz says shove 55+ AT+ A8s+ KQ KTs+ QJs with other villains calling very tight and bb 100%. There are 3 shorter stacks and you'l still have FE after blinds.

yeah i always laugh when people shove the middle suited connectors into a short stack that is committed with any 2...when you are shoving on a short stack you want high card value

well say we're on the button here with 10 blinds, then it's def an ok shove cause we dont lose FE and we are ahead of a random hand after all. but here it's really meh.

Although we should have 0 FE, there are villains who will fold here occasionally. It's probably <0.5% of the time but it's not absolute 0. But we don't really need FE against BB anyway, just against the others

If we were SB then this would be an auto shove, and if we were OTB it's a pretty easy shove too, despite the BB stack size. Since those are both really easy shoves, this can't be anything other than close.

he calls 99% of the time so just fold.
in these spots i prefer showing that i dont openshove with weak hands.
you can openshove ATC next hand instead, thats a way better idea i think
